Genesis 22

Abraham had waited a lifetime to have a son. God was good to his promise and gave him Isaac. However, now God asks him to give up Isaac as a sacrifice. We'll what amazing things happened when we obey as we see how this story sets up events that happen 2,000 years later on the cross. We'll ask the important question: "Who owns your heart?"

Genesis 35:16-29

God was with Jacob wherever he went in the downtimes and the up times. In this passage Jacob finally comes home to see his father and from this passage we'll learn, there is nothing you can do to earn God's love, there's nothing you can do to lose it.
