Genesis 36

The genealogy of Esau doesn't seem very exciting or relevant...that is until you dig in and see how intertwined Esau's dependents become in the history of Israel and the life of Jesus Christ. From this genealogy we'll learn, drifting away from God brings devastation to your family.

Genesis 49:29-50:26

As we finish the book of Genesis, we look back, and we look forward. We discover God was at work in the dark pits, just like he was at work in the victories. All of it was used by God. We learn to be thankful to God through it all. Ultimately, to give thanks to God for a broken heart.

Scripture References: Genesis 49:29-33, Genesis 50:1-26
