Genesis 47:1-27

Brokenness has been a theme throughout Genesis. We've compared brokenness to the process of saddle breaking a horse. A horse is considered broken when they're instantly obedient to the rider on its back. Some in our walks with God. What we learn from Genesis 47 is that a broken heart leads to the blessings of God.

Scripture References: Genesis 47:1-27, Genesis 12:2-3

From Series: "Resist"

"Resist" is a common rallying cry in our culture. However, as followers of God we are called to resist the ways of the world. As we finish our journey through Genesis we'll discover a man who resisted revenge, sexual temptation, and dependence on the ways of the world.
