Genesis 29-30

A horse is broken when it is instantly obedient to the rider on its back. God is trying to break us, the way a cowboy saddle breaks a horse. In this passage we continue to look at God breaking Jacob, Rachel and Leah. The problem is this family is filled with jealousy, and jealousy sabotages the breaking process.

As we jump into one of the most amazing passages in the Bible we see a man transformed. A self-made man who had cheated his way through life is broken through an incredible wrestling match with the Lord. We discover that God will do what it takes to conquer our hearts.
