What do we do when we face the darkest valley's of our lives. The pits. The times we are betrayed, let down, and wounded. We hate valley times. But From Joseph life we discover God is still at work in the darkest valleys of our lives. In fact, He intentionally leads us there.
"Resist" is a common rallying cry in our culture. However, as followers of God we are called to resist the ways of the world. As we finish our journey through Genesis we'll discover a man who resisted revenge, sexual temptation, and dependence on the ways of the world.
As we finish the book of Genesis, we look back, and we look forward. We discover God was at work in the dark pits, just like he was at work in the victories. All of it was used by God. We learn to be thankful to God through it all. Ultimately, to give thanks to God for a broken heart.
