Our Team

Jessica Campbell

Women's Ministry Director

Jessica and her husband, Dane, moved from Santa Barbara to McMinnville in 2017. She earned her BA in Sociology with a focus on relationships and a minor in Education and then went on to earn her elementary teaching credential.  She was a teacher for 12 years before leaving California. When God opened the door for this ministry opportunity at CalvaryMac, Jessica was humbled and thrilled. She has a passion for creating community among women and sharing the inclusiveness of Jesus. Jessica is currently coaching elementary cheer, teaching part time, and coordinating events at The Douglas on Third; she is loving life in the Willamette Valley!

Megan Ashton

Administrative Assistant / Worship Leader

Megan and her husband Bryant recently joined our team here at CalvaryMac. She comes to us with years of experience in leading worship  within various ministries. She also studied worship at Desperation Leadership Academy in Colorado Spring, Colorado. She was there for two years and graduated the program.

Brian Carlson

Lead Pastor

Brian joined the staff of CalvaryMac in 2017 and has been the Lead Pastor since September 2018. Brian has been a pastor for almost 20 years. While Brian grew up in the Portland area, he and his family lived in Colorado for the past 20 years. Brian enjoys Colorado Rockies Baseball, hiking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. He lives with his beautiful wife, Beka, and their three teenagers in McMinnville. His oldest son is married and lives with his wife in Idaho.

Josh Allen

Worship & Media Arts Director

Josh is an accomplished worship leader and musician who has performed across the world with multiple bands. While Josh grew up at CalvaryMac, he just recently returned from his time attending and serving on staff at Calvary Chapel Bible College, with a passion to see CalvaryMac engage a new generation in worship and with God’s Word. Josh is known as a “tone snob” who loves to get the best sound out of equipment, and the many instruments he plays.

Dan Bellows

Pastor of Spiritual Development

Dan Bellows has joined the CalvaryMac team after years of serving as an elder at Calvary Chapel, and working at ADEC, the worlds leader in Dental office chairs and furniture. Dan is married to Julie Bellows, our Children’s Ministry Director. They have three grown children and live in Carlton, Oregon.

Wess Root

Youth Pastor

Wess Root found Christ at Calvary Chapel McMinnville. He went off to Calvary Chapel Bible College and returned three-years-ago to take over as our Youth Pastor. Wess enjoys wild hair, bike riding, and hanging with his amazing kids. Wess and his wife, Lauren, live in McMinnville with their three kids.

Julie Bellows

Director of Children's Ministries

Julie Bellows brings 15 years of experience in leading Children’s Ministries to our team. She has a heart to see kids and their families engaged with the truth and power of God’s Word. Julie and her husband, Dan, live in Carlton and have three adult children.

Bryant Ashton

Young Adult Ministry Director

Bryant and his wife Megan recently joined our team here at CalvaryMac. He is currently enrolled at Northwest University pursuing a Bachelors in Ministry Leadership. He comes to us with years of experience in both Young Adult and Youth ministry which makes him the perfect candidate to head up our Young Adult Ministry.

Mack Allen

Graphic & Web Designer

Mack recently joined the CalvaryMac team as our in-house Graphic & Web Designer. He studied that very subject in the Visual Communications Program at Chemeketa Community College. He was there for three years and graduated the program.
