This special treat is specifically designed for anyone in our community and church who desire to gather with other believers, but do not feel they can safely socially distance indoors. Instead, we will be set up on our grassy knoll, the large grass amphitheater next to our old church building. Chairs will be available, but feel free to bring your own.

Our strategy to keep everyone safe as we gather around the worship and the Word.

We love gathering as a church around worship and the Word. However, our goal is to keep everyone safe. Thus, our board and our staff has diligently worked to make sure we take every precaution, according to recommendations by the state of Oregon and the federal governments.

Please take a look at our COVID-19 FAQ’s as well as keep in mind that you may not be at risk for COVID-19, however, many people in our community are. Thus, always live according to Philippians 2:3 “In humility count others more significant than yourselves.”

Church reopening plan

We want to keep everyone safe, but still be able to gather for worship and the Word. Thus, we are gathering outside because it is the safest environment. Studies show it is much harder for COVID-19 to survive outside. We have a beautiful grass amphitheater so we will be meeting outside through the summer and fall. We will have chairs and shade available, or feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and shade.

The amphitheater is found in the North West Corner of our property, behind the old house and surrounded by the tall fir trees. It is near the main church building main entrance.

We have chairs and shade available for everyone to set up themselves. We also encourage people to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, and shade if they’d like.

Yes, we will be streaming both the 9am service and 11am service live as normal. Feel free to gather with us online.

We are meeting outside which means you are not required to wear a mask, unless you cannot socially distance.

We are meeting outside in our amphitheater which means we have plenty of room for people to sit socially distanced in a safer, outdoor, environment. We’d encourage people to arrive at least 15 minutes early to make sure they are able to find a seat that meets their needs.

Yes. We have nursery care for children 3-years-old and under. The nursery is inside our building in the nursery. All volunteers and children are temperature checked, and go through a COVID-19 questionnaire before they are allowed entry.

We have several parking areas, all with access to the amphitheater.

  1. Upper Main Parking Lot: Use 2nd Street entrance.
Great for access to amphitheater. If this is your first time, this is a great place to park. The amphitheater sits on the other side of the old house.
There is also disable parking for those with permits. There is a level (no stairs) path from the disabled parking here to the grass amphitheater.
  2. Upper Amphitheater Parking Lot* disabled/elderly parking only: Use 2nd Street entrance.
This lot sits above the amphitheater area. We will be reserving this area for the elderly and disable parking only. There will be a seating area established for elderly and disabled on level pavement here so that people an park and sit at the top of the amphitheater.
  3. Lower Main Parking Lot: Use Cypress Street entrance.
Great access to amphitheater. If this is your first time, this is another great place to park. The amphitheater sits above this parking lot.

Both parking lots fill up close to service time so we’d encourage you to find a spot 15 minutes before service time.

We don’t have a dress code. If you’re wearing jeans, hats, or an old tee-shirt, you’ll fit right in.You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are outside so we’d encourage shorts and dress for summer.

Kids ministries are closed at this time to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will be opening all kids ministries ASAP. Sign up for “The Loop” for current updates. Children are asked to sit with their families in the main service.

Here’s a secret about our Sunday morning service: teenagers actually love it. Our band is actually really good, and students are impacted by our teaching just like adults. That’s why we don’t have separate student ministry meetings on Sunday. Instead, our student ministry services happen during the week. Here’s the times:

  1. 6th – 10th Grade meet Wednesday at 7pm at the Fire Pit.
  2. 11th – 12th Grade meet Sunday at 7pm at the Fire Pit.
  3. 18+ meet for Rethink on Mondays at 7pm at the Fire Pit.

If you are visiting, we won’t ask you to give a dime. We won’t make you wear a visitor badge or ask you to stand up or do anything that could make you feel uncomfortable. We want you to remain as anonymous as you want to, but we encourage you to visit our church over several weeks to see what’s going on at CalvaryMac.

Our bands rock (we’re a little biased)! It’ll be upbeat and probably louder than you expected but earplugs are available at the doors if you have sensitive ears. You’ll hear a few worship songs so feel free to sing along or participate however you feel most comfortable. Lyrics will be on the screens.

We don’t have any. We’re not really into adding names to lists, so if you’d like to be a a part of CalvaryMac, congratulations! You’re in!

For this time of outside services we have only one service at 10:30 AM. Because parking fills up fast and so that you won’t feel rushed, we do recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the service to navigate our children’s check-in and make your way to the worship center.

Our mission statement =
