Zach Lamberson
Lead Pastor
Zach and his wife Christy are natives of the Tri-Cities in eastern Washington. They served on staff at Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities for 18 years before the Lord moved them to McMinnville in 2023 to pastor Calvary Mac.
Brian Van Cleave
Associate Pastor
Brian He was Senior Pastor of the McMinnville Foursquare Church for 25 years. At the same time, Brian worked for Duniway Middle School as a special education reading teacher while coaching multiple middle school sports teams.
He retired from both in 2018 but continues to coach the 7th-grade tackle football team. Brian is an accomplished guitarist and a “not-so-accomplished” golfer.
Brian and Robann have been married for 44 years and reside in Dayton, Oregon. They have three adult children and eight grandchildren. He is also the author of 2 books: “Jesus: a Man’s Man” and “Out of the Wilderness.”

Wess Root
Youth Pastor
Wess Root found Christ at Calvary Chapel McMinnville. He went off to Calvary Chapel Bible College and returned in 2013 to take over as our Youth Pastor. Wess enjoys wild hair, woodworking, and hanging with his amazing kids. Wess and his wife, Lauren, live in McMinnville with their three kids.
Jennifer Shugart
Executive Assistant
Jennifer is the executive assistant at Calvary Mac. She and her family joined CalvaryMac in 2022. Jennifer grew up in Wyoming and made her way to Oregon after graduating from Montana State University. Jennifer has been married to her husband Doug for over 20 years and they love living in McMinnville where they are raising their 3 kids. Jennifer loves coffee, to serve the church and community, and to read any book she gets her hands on! Especially stories of redemption and overcoming adversity.
Christy Lamberson
Women's Ministry Director
Christy is the director of the kid's ministry. Until their move to Mac she worked as an executive assistant for Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities. There she oversaw a number of different roles and ministries. She enjoys her playing with her kiddos, hanging in the sunshine and hiking. She also has a passion for God's word and counseling others in it.
Kadie Boe
Kid's Ministry Director
Kadie grew up living back and forth between Pismo beach California and McMinnville. She graduated from Mac High in 2021 and has been coming to Calvary Mac since 2018 where she has served in Kid's Ministry since 2020. Kadie has a heart to teach our kids the word of God at a level they can understand and thrive in.
Christa Thorne
Administrative Assistant
Christa was born and raised in the Willamette Valley and loves it here! She has 2 beautiful daughters, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She enjoy road trips and going to the beach as often as she can. She loves working with numbers and being around other Christ Followers, so, in Christa's words, "CalvaryMac is the perfect place for me to work!"
Teresa Kilgore
Receptionist
Teresa and her two youngest children, Wesley and Gracie, joined the Calvary Mac church family in 2018 and since then have made lifelong friends within the church that feel more like family. She has a passion and heart for Christ and loving others. When not in church, you can find Teresa devoted to spending with her family and friends, and enjoying activities like baking, gardening, spending time in nature, crafting, and traveling.

Abby grew up as a part of Calvary Chapel of McMinnville (Calvary Mac) and discovered a voice and desire to lead people into the presence of God.

Bobby Crowston
Deacon
Bobby spent the first 13 years of his life on a small piece of property in Estacada Oregon. His family relocated to McMinnville where he finished high school. Bobby has been attending CalvaryMac since 2019 and currently leads the First Impressions team. Bobby and his wife Shaylyn have been married since 2019 and added their sons Emmitt and Collin to their family in 2022 and 2023. In his free time he enjoys mountain biking, surfing, backpacking, and Crossfit.
Dan Canfield
Elder, Board Secretary
Dan and Joanna Canfield grew up in Portland and moved to McMinnville in 2002. They have been part of the CalvaryMac family since 2002. On Sundays you'll usually find Dan back in the sound booth running the live stream while Joanna is in the nursery taking care of little ones. During the week Dan works as a mechanical engineer and Joanna homeschools the kids.
Bruce Owen
Deacon, Treasurer
Bruce was born in Phoenix, AZ and raised in San Jose CA. Bruce and Shelli have been married for 38 years. They have 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Bruce is an Army veteran and works as an accountant in the finance office of George Fox University. He enjoys learning about US history, especially the Civil War and World War Two. He also enjoys cooking and baking, and is currently training to do voice over work.
