Dan Bellows

Pastor of Spiritual Development

Dan Bellows joined the CalvaryMac staff after years of serving as an elder at Calvary Chapel.  While serving as an elder Dan was employed in a local manufacturing company for 31 years - 16 of those in warehouse management.   He retired from A-dec, Inc. in 2018 so he could fulfill a life-long dream of working in ministry.  Dan has been happily married to the love of his life, Julie for over 40 years.  They have three grown children, one beautiful granddaughter, and live in McMinnville.

Jessica Campbell

Women's Ministries Director

Jessica is our Director of Women’s Ministries. She earned her BA in Sociology with a focus on relationships and a minor in Education and then went on to earn her elementary teaching credential.  She was a teacher for 12 years before moving to Oregon. She has a passion for creating community among women and sharing the wonder of Jesus. She may be a SoCal girl, but she loves life in the Willamette Valley!

Brian Carlson

Lead Pastor

Brian joined the staff of CalvaryMac in 2017 and has been the Lead Pastor since September 2018. Brian has been a pastor for almost 20 years. While Brian grew up in the Portland area, he and his family lived in Colorado for  20 years. Brian enjoys Colorado Rockies Baseball, hiking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. He lives with his beautiful wife, Beka, and their two teenagers in McMinnville. His daughter lives in the French Alps, and his oldest son is married and lives with his wife in Idaho.

Christa Holcomb

Administrative Assistant

Christa was born and raised in the Willamette Valley and loves it here! She has 2 beautiful daughters, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.  She enjoy road trips and going to the beach as often as she can.  She loves working with numbers and being around other Christ Followers, so, in Christa's words, "CalvaryMac is the perfect place for me to work!" 

Christa Jackson

Young Adult Ministries Coordinator

Christa has been married just over 4 years and is no stranger to ministry. She has a passion to intentionally pour into young adults, whether that be over coffee or diet coke OR a serious night of board games.
Christa is a beauty stylist and enjoys road trips with her husband, national parks, and most importantly, Disneyland. She purposefully embarks on life’s journey as God leads the way knowing that “Adventure is out there.”

Jen Jolly

Children's Ministries Director

Jen is the Director of Children’s ministry here at CalvaryMac.  She a SoCal girl but moved to Oregon in 2013 and has raised her two kids with her husband here.    
In her “free time” she loves to read, bake, craft, organize, and take care of her house plant collection. She has years of experience working with children and working in the kids ministry department.  She has a heart to see children come to know who Jesus is, how much He loves them.

Teresa Kilgore

Receptionist

Teresa and her two youngest children, Wesley and Gracie, joined the Calvary Mac church in 2018 and since then have made lifelong friends within the church that feel more like family.  She has a passion and heart for Christ and loving others.  When not in church, you can find Teresa devoted to spending with her family and friends, and enjoying activities like baking, gardening, spending time in nature, crafting, and traveling.

Abby Pearson

Worship Leader

Abby grew up as a part of Calvary Chapel of McMinnville (CalvaryMac) and discovered a voice and desire to lead people into the presence of God. 

Wess Root

Youth Pastor

Wess Root found Christ at Calvary Chapel McMinnville. He went off to Calvary Chapel Bible College and returned in 2015 to take over as our Youth Pastor. Wess enjoys wild hair, bike riding, and hanging with his amazing kids. Wess and his wife, Lauren, live in McMinnville with their three kids.

Dan Canfield

Elder, Board Secretary

Dan and Joanna Canfield grew up in Portland and moved to McMinnville in 2002. They have been part of the CalvaryMac family since 2002.  On Sundays you'll usually find Dan back in the sound booth running the live stream while Joanna is in the nursery taking care of little ones. During the week Dan works as a mechanical engineer and Joanna homeschools the kids.

Dave Erickson

Deacon

Dave Erickson is married to Kate with their 2 beautiful children, Sophie and Jacob. He never skips breakfast fast as a family as much as possible, spends every night with family games (family feud, scattegories, uno, mahjong, and monopoly)  or family talk (life, Bible and Jesus), and loves outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. Their new favorite activity is taking care of their new dog Echo (English Cream Retriever).

Bruce Owen

Deacon, Treasurer

Bruce was born in Phoenix, AZ and raised in San Jose CA.  Bruce and Shelli have been married for 36 years.  They have 5 adult children and 4 grand children.  Bruce is an Army veteran and works as an accountant in the finance office of George Fox University.  He enjoys learning about US history, especially the Civil War and World War Two.  He also enjoys cooking and baking, and is currently training to do voice over work.
