Calvary

Two Ministry Branches. One Strategy.
At CalvaryMac, we believe youth ministry should do more than entertain or just get students through high school. Our mission is to help the next generation live different—to follow Jesus with passion and purpose for a lifetime.
That’s why our approach to youth ministry is intentionally different.
Most youth ministries split students into middle school and high school groups. But we’ve taken a different path—because the need is too great to stick with the status quo.
Here’s the reality:
Studies show that 70% of students who attend church in high school walk away from their faith after graduation. But in our experience, many begin drifting long before that. By the time students hit their junior and senior years, they often check out—busy with jobs, more independence, and the pressure of preparing for life after high school.
We’re not okay with that.
So, we designed our ministry to be different—on purpose.
We’re building environments that guide students to know Jesus deeply, walk with Him daily, and carry that relationship with them beyond graduation. Everything we do is centered on helping students develop a life-long, authentic, and growing relationship with Christ.
Because we believe when students live different now, they’ll live different for the rest of their lives.

Upcoming Events
Help us raise money for the Bike Trip this year! The Bike Trip is essentially our summer camp and it is not cheap! Every year we take students on the Bike Trip that can't afford to go thanks to people who donate generously to CalvaryMac Youth. The Spaghetti fund raiser is an opportunity for people to do that in multiple ways. There is no "head charge" but you can contribute whatever you would like. There will also be a "silent auction" made up of items and services collected from and by students and people in the church. The only way to know what we have up for auction is to show up in person, let us feed you, and have a look! Do your best to sign up in advance so we can get an idea how much food to prepare!

8 Days, 7 Nights camping, biking, swimming, hiking on the San Juan Islands in Washington. All students, gear, supplies, food and anything else needed is transported to Anacortes WA. At Anacortes students will take all their personal supplies and load them onto their bike via bike rack and bike saddle bags. We then hop a ferry and from that point on, the students are on their bikes! Don't worry, we have a food & supply truck and 3-4 other support vehicles that keep watch over the group ensuring everyone makes it to camp safely. Students will be in breakfast groups with 5-6 of their peers. We will be having Bible studies every night. It is a very rich and memorable time! Don't miss it!
