Zach Lamberson Candidate Profile

On September 3 we will welcome Zach Lamberson to teach at CalvaryMac as a Lead Pastor candidate. Zach is currently an Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities in Kennewick, Washington, where he has been on staff for the last 18 years. His current areas of responsibility are the Young Adult Ministry (which he leads together with his wife Christy) and the Worship Ministry. Under Zach and Christy’s leadership, the Young Adult ministry has grown from about 20 people meeting in their home to a healthy group of missional minded young adults with a weekly attendance of over 50. As Worship Pastor, Zach has also helped organize and lead worship conferences and workshops through a ministry called EQ Worship that he co-founded.

In his time on staff at Tri-Cities, Zach has also led the Jr. High ministry, radio and television production, and overseen the home fellowship ministry. He has played a key role in launching and leading Calvary Tri-Cities’ School of Ministry. Christy also serves behind the scenes in several roles at Calvary Tri-Cities and with the Calvary Chapel Association, in addition to leading the Young Adult ministry with Zach. In their time at Tri-Cities, the Lambersons have been involved in just about every aspect of church ministry.

Both Zach and Christy grew up in the Tri-Cities area. They have four children; Israel (20) and Josiah (18) joined the family by adoption 8 years ago, and Judah (8) and Claire (5) joined by birth.

Zach is passionate about teaching God’s word, training and equipping people in ministry, and making music to lead people in worship. Many of Zach’s teachings (and songs) are available online on the Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities and EQ Worship YouTube pages.
